What is SetFound?
SetFound is a free web application that helps LEGO collectors, families and resellers identify sets from loose parts, check what is missing, organize physical copies and collections, and keep purchase and sales records together.

Review the minifigures belonging to a set without mixing them into the normal parts checklist. Complete, missing and partially complete figures can be tracked independently.

A collection can contain more than one copy of the same set. Each copy has its own checklist, completion state, minifigure state and notes.

Why it is useful: Useful when an identified or incomplete set is ready to be rebuilt and the original paper instructions are missing.
Upload .xlsx, .csv or .tsv files, or paste cells directly from Excel or Google Sheets. SetFound detects common columns, lets you map unfamiliar headers, previews the rows and skips duplicate records during import.
Why it is useful: Useful when moving an existing sales or purchase history into SetFound without re-entering every transaction manually.
The Reseller Dashboard records purchases before a sale. Purchases can be individual items or lots, later sales can be linked back to their original purchase source, and unlinked purchases can be deleted.
Why it is useful: Useful for keeping purchase history and sale history connected instead of treating every sale as an isolated transaction.
Record or edit sale price, shipping, extra set costs, platform, payment method and actual or estimated fees. Click a saved sale to open its complete breakdown, including revenue, shipping, purchase source and cost basis, fees, VAT, profit and sale-level ROI. Gross revenue includes the sale price plus shipping paid by the buyer. Realized ROI is based only on the cost basis of inventory actually sold, while Capital ROI compares realized profit with broader deployed capital. VAT accounting supports standard VAT plus used-goods VAT with individual and global methods.
Why it is useful: Useful for understanding what was actually earned after costs and, when VAT accounting is used, after the applicable VAT effect rather than looking only at the sale price.
When recording a LEGO sale, enter the set number or set name. SetFound searches its local catalogue, recognizes the set and fills the official piece count automatically.

When a completed lot contains several sold sets, SetFound can allocate the lot's purchase price proportionally using each linked set's piece count.
Why it is useful: For example, in a 1,000 DKK lot split between a 900-piece set and a 100-piece set, the allocated purchase costs are 900 DKK and 100 DKK.
Signed-in users can keep supported SetFound data synchronized so their work is not limited to one browser session.
